Director of Information Technology
Oversees the administration and maintenance of the Town of Jupiter Island's and South Martin Regional Utilities' Information Technology infrastructure.
Establishes and implements strategic direction along with tactical goals, policies, and procedures for the Department of Information Technology.
Develops day-to-day operational plans, activities, and project resourcing strategies, allocating budget, staff, tools and specialized support necessary for cost-effective implementation of IT security/services.
Plan, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files, databases, cloud-hosted solutions, data center infrastructure and transmissions against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
Serves as primary subject matter expert and liaison on Cybersecurity.
Develops the IT department's annual budget and provides Town management with short and long-range goals as well as an annual work plan.
